  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
    • 1) The company UNISYSTEM SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ located in Gdańsk (address: Nowy Świat 36, 80-299 Gdańsk), entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register no. KRS 0000553097; Tax Identification Number (NIP): 5842741076; National Business Registry Number (REGON): 361255803 respects the privacy of natural persons and properly protects their personal data.
    • 2) The following Privacy Protection Policy is applicable to all data collected or used by the Unisystem Sp. z o.o. and is intended, in particular, for services offered by the Company via website available at www.unisystem.pl.
    • 3) The following Privacy Protection Policy is not applicable to websites and third party services which may be accessed via links on the aforementioned website.
    • 4) By using the Unisystem website and/or giving the Company your personal data you consent to the processing of personal data specified in this Privacy Protection Policy and Local Privacy Policy.
    • 5) According to this Policy, the Customer is a customer who visits pages of the Unisystem website and/or uses the Company services.
  2. DATA COLLECTION
    • 1) The basis for processing personal data is the consent of the Customer and a statutory authorization to process the personal data which is necessary to execute and settle a sale transaction by the Company.
    • 2) Personal Data of the Company’s Customers is processed and protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997. The Company does not transfer, sell or lend the personal data collected from Customers to other persons or institutions, excluding the data which is necessary to fulfill obligations according to the law or with the consent of the data subject.  The Company may entrust processing of personal data to other entities under conditions determined by the applicable law. The Company collects personal data via registration forms published on the pages of the Company’s website, through direct contact with a Customer (for example by phone) and every time the Customer sends the Company a fax or e-mail message that contains his or her personal data.
    • 3) A Customer registering on the website via registration form provides his or her name and surname, address of residence, e-mail address and phone number. Provision of the personal data in question is voluntary; however, providing name, surname and address of residence is necessary to conclude a sales agreement with the Company.
      During registration the Customer provides a login and a password which protects the Customer’s account on the website. The login and password should be secured by the Customer against the access of unauthorized persons.
  3. USE OF DATA
    • 1) Data provided by the Customer during registration is used for services offered by the Company only to enable the Customer to log into the website, execute payments for placed orders and execute orders. In a particular case the Customer’s data may be made available to other entities such as courier companies, payment services or insurance companies to execute the order; these entities are obliged to preserve the confidentiality of the transmitted data.
    • 2) The Customer’s data may be made available to government agencies authorized to receive it based on the provisions of the applicable law.
    • 3) Data collected through direct contact of the Customer with the Company via website is solely used for correspondence with the Customer and responding to his or her questions.
    • 4) The Customer’s data is also collected to send commercial information within the meaning of the Act on Electronic Services of 18 July 2002 (Journal of Laws of 2002 No 144, item 1204, as amended) if the Customer has given his or her consent.
  4. THE RIGHT TO ACCESS, AMEND AND REMOVE PERSONAL DATA
    • 1) A Customer has the right to access, amend and update his or her personal data provided to the Company and to object to using his or her personal data. Data used for purchase cannot be modified (because it is a part of an accounting document) as well as data collected automatically.
    • 2) At the request of a Customer the Company is obliged to delete his or her personal data unless it is required to be retained by applicable law or legitimate purposes. A request to remove data shall be sent to: Unisystem Sp. z o.o., ul. Nowy Świat 36, 80-299 Gdańsk (Poland) or by e-mail: biuro@unisystem.pl.
  5. SAFETY OF DATA
    • 1) The Company uses appropriate safety measures to protect data from unauthorized access, public disclosure and its destruction. Used safety measures cover technical solutions of the website including appropriate encryption of the data transmitted in the Internet, strict control of the physical access to computers and data storage devices on which personal data is stored as well as implementing and applying appropriate procedures for personal data storage and treatment. Each person who processes the Customer’s personal data for the purpose of the Unisystem website has been granted the appropriate authorization by the personal data administrator.
    • 2) The company creates backup files and may use other similar measures to prevent accidental damage or destruction of the Customer’s personal data.
    • 3) Electronic transfers and pay card payments are carried out via PayPal or PayU service. These services are responsible for data provided in forms and are secured with appropriate technical solutions.
  6. COLLECTING DATA USING COOKIE FILES
    • 1) Some areas of the Unisystem website may use cookie files which are small text files sent to the hard disk of the Customer’s computer. They store the data about the Customer’s visits to the website and save his or her preferences such as language of the login page. The content of cookie files is generated by the website and does not allow to identify the Customer. Personal data is not processed or stored by the cookie files. This also relates to persons visiting the Unisystem website who are not registered there.Cookie files may be used for remarketing. It is a graphic or text advertisement based on previously saved user preferences, displayed on other web pages visited by the user.
    • 2) When advertising on the Internet, the Unisystem company may use remarketing by means of tools of external companies (i.a. Google Adwords, Google Analytics). The Unisystem company advertisements on the Internet are displayed by external suppliers. The Unisystem company and external suppliers (i.a. Google) use cookie files to display advertisements based on previous visits to the Unisystem website.
    • 3) Cookie files can be disabled at any time in the web browser options, however, it might also disable using the Unisystem website.
  7. FREE NEWSLETTERS SUBSCRIPTION
    • 1) A Newsletter is a free service for Customers who expressed their will to receive it by subscribing to the service. By sending a chosen content via electronic means in a form of an e-mail, the Newsletter informs the Customers about offers, events and other information which relate to commercial activities of the Company.
    • 2) Use of the Newsletter commences after providing an e-mail address to which subsequent editions of the Newsletter are to be sent and the User’s name in the “Subscribe for the Newsletter” field placed in the footer of the home page and clicking “Subscribe” button, or by choosing an appropriate field in the registration form (this field is not obligatory).  Data obtained in this way is added to the mailing list.
    • 3) A Customer who decides to subscribe to the Company’s Newsletter consents to receiving marketing materials transferred electronically in accordance with Article 8(1) of the Act on Electronic Services of 18 July 2002 (Journal of Laws of 2002 No 144, item 1204) in the form of a newsletter.
    • 4) The data of Customers who registered on the website to have the access to the newsletter is solely used for sending a new newsletter to a given Customer.
    • 5) The Customer has the option, at any time and without stating the cause, to unsubscribe from the Newsletter by logging in the Customer Area, opening the “Account” tab, clicking “Newsletter” and unchecking the “Newsletter” checkbox. The Customer can also send a corresponding request via e-mail at the address: order@unisystem.pl.
  8. LINKS TO OTHER WEBPAGES
    • 1) The Unisystem website may contain links to other web pages included for Customer’s convenience and to provide information. The Company does not take responsibility for content provided there and external privacy policies. The Customer shall be aware of the distinctiveness of such pages from the Unisystem website and every time such a page is visited via a link its privacy policy should be verified by oneself.
  9. FINAL PROVISIONS
    • 1) The Company may amend the Privacy Protection Policy at any time, in particular to update it when accepted procedures about protecting and using the stored data change. Every time a new Privacy Policy is published on the Unisystem website it shall become binding. It shall be used for all data gathered that follows a Customer’s activity on the Unisystem website after publishing on the appropriate page of the Unisystem website the updated version of the Privacy Protection Policy.
